While setting the strategy and overall management of the organization, Burke likes to work hands-on with clients as well. He simultaneously performs the roles of strategist, technical consultant, creative director, and process improvement consultant.
Burke has a varied background in application development, technical infrastructure, marketing, sales and management process throughout his career with IBM, Financial Software, Inc. and Impact Information Systems.
Consider his background and the continued work with the various Fortune 500 and small business clients since 1999 at NovoLogic, and it is no wonder he has earned a reputation of being a trusted advisor to the many people who rely on his judgment and expertise every day.
As a former decathlete for the University of Georgia, Burke enjoys a variety of sports activities as well as coaching youth sports teams.
Co-Founder - Chief Financial Officer
Julie Allen learned the importance of process, management controls, and the art of working relationships while managing over 300 people as a Process Manager at Wachovia. After helping another startup business mature to over 100 employees strong, Julie set her sights on NovoLogic and has managed to keep NovoLogic independent of the need for venture capital investors, while successfully eliminating all debt for the company.
Julie is the soul and the conscience of NovoLogic, as well as the current majority owner and is a tireless volunteer with our community's school system, Church, and most recently with Dream House for Medically Fragile Children.
Chief Operating Officer
Jay Hassell gained leadership skills and expertise in both Operations and Human Resource Management during his 17 years with Qualex Inc. (subsidiary of Eastman Kodak). His cross-functional background, coupled with dual Master’s Degrees (MBA, MHRM), provides Jay with a unique and advantageous business perspective.
Jay truly understands the concept of “Business Partnership,” as his record of success has been built upon developing effective relationships and working collectively to exceed organizational expectations.
In addition to the day to day activities at NovoLogic, Jay also provides consulting for the Georgia Department of Education Business and Computer Science programs. Jay also volunteers as a key note speaker at the Mayor’s Youth Program of Atlanta, assisting young adults with “Creating their own Personal Brand.” Jay is an active member of the National and Atlanta Chapters of the Society for Human Resource Managers (SHRM) and also serves on several community ministry programs focused on job readiness and placement programs.
Senior Vice President, Professional Services
As one of the first employees for IBM Multimedia Group and the former CTO for IBM Multimedia Services, Jeff Gray was responsible for developing and driving the worldwide technology strategy used at all IBM interactive development centers and worked closely with technology vendors such as Lotus, Macromedia, Cisco and others to help define and prioritize their company’s product development efforts in support of a global interactive marketplace.
Jeff is a "gray hair" in the interactive industry, with over 19 years of experience. Jeff's professional accomplishments include building rich media communications solutions for two of the top three telecommunication companies in the U.S., introducing computer-based training applications for one of the largest retail sales companies in the world, acting as technical lead for the first worldwide e-learning course deployed by GE, and producing over 15 multi-million dollar development efforts, all delivered with 100% client satisfaction.
Jeff has served on multiple industry-related boards, assisting in developing industry standards for web-based communications delivery and tracking.
Co-Founder - Senior Vice President, Products
Steve Taylor has proven his application development expertise for over 25 years, having developed mission-critical client-server and web applications on systems such as the IBM System 36, IBM AS/400, and Windows platforms.
While his technical expertise speaks for itself, his commitment to excellence and respectful demeanor are what makes the people he serves raving fans.
Elizabeth Markham has over 16 years of experience in project and operations management, strategic planning and technology development. She is an energetic leader with expertise in leading, managing and coaching both employees and freelance consultants.
She has managed many large-scale projects such as the training roll-out for the IBM Results System for the 1996 Olympic Games, development efforts for Peachtree Accounting software, and managing the design, development and deployment of over 500 hours of corporate-based training programs.
She consistently works and delivers on fostering a proactive workplace environment conducive to the highest levels of employee participation.
Sue has over 20 years’ experience in program and project management on a global basis for several companies, including ADP, AT&T, IBM, Coca-Cola Enterprises, iXL, Deloitte, Price Waterhouse and D&B Software.
Her projects have covered the design, implementation, documentation, courseware development, training delivery, and ongoing support of enterprise wide systems. She has also developed and managed the educational practices within several consulting firms (Deloitte, The Hunter Group, D&B Software) with a focus on delivering education to both internal consultants and clients across all industry verticals.
In addition to her MBA, she has earned a Masters Certificate in Project Management and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Outside of work, Sue spends her time on various creative pursuits and working with and caring for young children and seniors.
Audrey joined NovoLogic's team as a writer and editor, and later took on the role as project manager for the small business sector. Her background is in English and Spanish, editing and Human Resource Management. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, photography, art and teaching English as a Second Language.
Ben has over 10 years of experience in web development and system architecture, covering a wide variety of technological tools and platforms. Ben specializes in understanding and organizing complex requirements and crafting a robust and elegant solution that meets and balances the needs of the customer and the technology being used. In addition, Ben provides technology consulting, platform research and selection, Content Management System implementation, web design implementation, and research and development.
Jason has worked in the technology industry for over 15 years. Before coming to NovoLogic, he managed a corporate IT department, providing technical direction and end user support as well as leading all internal software development efforts.
Since joining NovoLogic in 2000, Jason has worked with many web development and media production technologies to design and build robust, interactive web applications and training systems. Jason has led numerous projects that have helped clients successfully use rich media to engage and educate users in new and original ways. His project experience covers a range of industries including financial, environmental, construction, education, real estate, and marketing.
When Jason is not serving his clients, he is coaching little league, practicing his harmonica skills or challenging his kids in the latest Madden NFL.
Razvan Pataca started early in life on a career he was passionate about: web development. With his foot in the door, Raz was able to hit the ground running and has developed an even deeper passion for the web field. Raz joined the NovoLogic team in February of 2010 as a developer with a specialty in CMS development and a desire to continue to grow and better himself both as an individual and as a developer.
Outside of work Raz enjoys spending time with family and friends and volunteering at his church.
